Will I receive nutrition advice at my first appointment?

Yes. Although an individualised meal plan requires additional time to prepare, you will still receive practical nutrition advice, education and strategies during your initial consultation.

Can my Dietitian recommend a DEXA scan?

Yes. Where appropriate, your Dietitian may recommend a DEXA Body Composition or Bone Density scan to provide additional information about your muscle mass, body composition or bone health.

DEXA scanning is available onsite at WLC Medical and does not require a GP referral. Your Dietitian can discuss whether a DEXA scan may be useful based on your individual health needs and goals.
