Physiotherapy Services

To help you keep doing what's important to you

At WLC Medical, our aim is to help you move better, recover from injury, reduce pain, and give you the knowledge and confidence to manage your health independently.

We support people with a wide range of conditions, including everyday aches and pains, sports and workplace injuries, ongoing pain conditions, mobility challenges, and complex rehabilitation needs. Our Physiotherapists also provide support for disability services, Workers’ Compensation rehabilitation, and pre- and post-surgical management, helping you prepare for procedures, optimise recovery, and return to the activities that matter most to you.

We believe that understanding the whole person is key to achieving the best outcomes, which is why we offer 60-minute initial consultations with our Physiotherapists. This extended appointment allows us to take the time to understand your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, goals, and any factors that may be affecting your movement and wellbeing.

Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, exercise rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, and education about the cause of your symptoms. We work closely with you to create a personalised treatment plan that supports your goals, recovery, and long-term health.

At WLC Medical, we also offer a state-of-the-art DEXA scanner with no GP referral required, providing a gold-standard assessment of body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and bone density. This information can help guide treatment decisions, monitor progress, and support better long-term health outcomes.

When appropriate, your physiotherapist can refer you for diagnostic imaging and collaborate with local personal trainers, gyms, and health clubs to support your ongoing fitness, recovery, and wellbeing beyond your treatment at WLC Medical.

B.Sc. (Physiotherapy)
B.Sc. (Exercise & Health Science)

As a Physio at WLC Medical, it’s my job to help keep you moving and doing the things you want to do.

This first involves sitting down and discussing your injury and/or pain to discuss the what, how and why. Being able to determine the root cause of an injury and any possible barriers to recovery goes a long way to ensuring positive outcomes and reduced risk of recurring injuries.

From there we assess, diagnose and treat as required, often with a basic home program given to provide the tools necessary for recovery. My goal is to achieve results as quickly as possible, keeping you out of the clinic and back to what’s important to you.
