The Psychologist is at the heart of addressing your “Why?”

The Psychologist is at the heart of addressing your “Why?” with regard to finding and treating the root cause of any behavioural patterns that lead to habits that may be detrimental to your health. The role of the Psychologist will benefit everyone, building the necessary skills and techniques to create meaningful and sustainable lifestyle changes.

The Psychologist can also assess and treat people across the spectrum of mental health disorders, including those with eating disorders and behaviours negatively affecting their food, fitness and overall health choices. With a known causal link between intake of antidepressants and weight gain, this can also be managed between the Psychologist and a person’s Psychiatrist to ensure maximal benefit to each person.

My goal is to provide a safe environment where clients can share what they are going through, including their inner most struggles and challenges. We can then work together to explore, reflect, develop goals and help you to move towards your aspirations.

Everyone is unique and no single approach works for everyone, so I have trained in a range of modalities, so I can best support and tailor therapy to my clients. I am able to provide a range of assessment, behavioural intervention and therapy to clients including children and adults.
