Rachael Gilholm

Dietician

I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a passion for empowering individuals on their journey toward better health and well-being. Recognising that each person’s journey is unique, I tailor my approach to meet individual needs and goals, whether that’s managing a medical condition, improving their relationship with food, or working towards a healthier lifestyle. I find my work in private practice especially rewarding, as I’ve seen firsthand the transformative impact that regular dietetic support can have on people’s lives. I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. I’ve completed additional training and upskilling in areas including weight loss and weight loss surgery, disordered eating, and some eating disorders, paediatric feeding and sports nutrition. In addition, I utilise the ECAL machine for metabolism testing to further support dietetic interventions, removing the guesswork and providing personalised, evidence-based guidance. It is recommended to bring as much information you can to that first appointment, including list of medications, recent blood tests and medical background. This will help me forming a plan that works for you.
