Physiotherapy Services

To help you keep doing what's important to you

The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal (muscle, joint, tendon etc) conditions and impairments, ensuring you have full functional mobility and knowledge in how to best manage your body.

This can include standard hands-on manual therapy, dry needling acupuncture, exercise-based rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, education regarding the cause of any mobility issues and treatment plans to build toward independent management.

From a weight management perspective, this can also include Body Composition Analysis to assess your muscle/fat/bone mass and Digital Muscle Dynamometry to assess your muscle strength.

The Physiotherapist will also be able to refer for diagnostic imaging where appropriate, and link with local personal trainers, gyms and health clubs to assist in independent fitness outside of WLC Medical.

As a Physio at WLC Medical, it’s my job to help keep you moving and doing the things you want to do.

This first involves sitting down and discussing your injury and/or pain to discuss the what, how and why. Being able to determine the root cause of an injury and any possible barriers to recovery goes a long way to ensuring positive outcomes and reduced risk of recurring injuries.

From there we assess, diagnose and treat as required, often with a basic home program given to provide the tools necessary for recovery. My goal is to achieve results as quickly as possible, keeping you out of the clinic and back to what’s important to you.
